For our AMETEK CTS business unit, we are looking for a Import / Export Specialist (M/F / d) at our location in Kamen (NRW, Germany).

The product portfolio comprises testing systems for conducted and radiated disturbances as well as amplifiers in the RF and microwave range.

Key Responsibilities of the Import / Export Specialist (M/F / d) include:

  • Ensuring the processes specified by the customs administration and maintaining the status of "authorized exporter"
  • Processing of imports
  • Knowledge of customs classification
  • Examination and monitoring of foreign trade transactions
  • Sanction list and embargo check
  • Support for the classification of goods
  • Preparation of export documents and supplier declarations
  • Master data maintenance

Position Requirements:

  • Commercial education with a focus on shipping, industry and/or customs
  • Several years of experience in customs clearance (import and export, free trade agreements)
  • Independent and communicative
  • Ideally knowledge of Windows Navision and AEB
  • Fluent in German and English
