Job Purpose/Mission


The Product Performance Team is responsible for defining and delivering the product test/validation activities and for managing the post-launch product performance.

This will be achieved by working with the leaders of Product Management and R&D, to define and manage the development processes, drive the test and validation activities, and implement performance monitoring metrics (and corrective actions) for the product after launch.


Consequently, you will be part of a team of test and validation engineers to deliver and maintain best-in-class product performance for a range of solar-powered consumer devices for emerging markets.

You will be responsible for helping to define, implement, and deliver the test and validation activities underpinning all of our new product developments.

Main Activities

  • Execute electrical system testing campaign
  • Document and communicate findings to key stakeholders
  • Maintain and expand lab equipment
  • Product exploration teardowns and prototype building
  • Support in test automation initiatives
  • Various other activities to support development teams

Knowledge and skills

Experience:


  • Firsthand experience in hardware development
  • Handson knowledge of soldering and handling of HW laboratory technology (e.g. multimeter, laboratory power supply, oscilloscope etc)
  • Meticulous documentation
  • Desire to learn new things
  • The ability to work independently

Qualifications:


  • Degree (or pursuing a degree) in Electrical Engineering or similar
