Marvel Fusion, founded in 2019 and based in Munich, is a technology pioneer in the field of safe, clean, and reliable power generation.

The impact you will make
We are looking to hire an Intern for at least 6 months.

As an Intern in Safety Engineering & HSE, you will be a crucial part of our safety team, working alongside us to establish and continuously improve the safety culture within our company, and ensure the safety of our experimental team.

Together with experimental physicists and engineers, you will conduct safety assessments for areas including radiation safety, electrical safety, chemical safety, etc.

You will work side by side with our Safety Manager to advance the safety concept of our future facilities and experimental campaigns.

More specifically, you will:

Conduct risk assessments

Design operational procedures to ensure the safety of our team

Support the safety assessment of our technical demonstrator and future facilities

Work on radiation protection aspects

What you bring

An undergrad degree in occupational safety, safety engineering, or related

Initial experience in occupational safety, environmental protection, or fire protection

Expertise in safety analysis methods like HAZOP and FMEA is a plus

Scientific background and experience in nuclear safety, radiation protection or Monte Carlo Physics Codes is a plus

Curiosity, proactive mindset, and openness to new ways of doing things

Excellent communication skills and a structured working style

A healthy amount of flexibility, adaptability, and can-do attitude

Fluent English
