w3-ff is a venture builder that aims to adapt and reimagine Web2 use cases in the Web3 world. Web3 operates differently from Web2 and requires different implementation approaches. While there is already significant venture funding in the Web3 space, the infrastructure is still being developed, and new forms of collaboration are emerging. However, the mass market has not fully embraced Web3 yet, and the current state is quite technical. Some unconventional and potentially less meaningful use cases are being explored, and the user interface and experience are far from what the average user expects today.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our next project focuses on supply chain in the Web3 space, and we are seeking an Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) to support us in developing and executing this visionary idea.

Tasks

As an EiR, you will:

• Collaborate with the Venture Builder team to define and refine the vision and strategy for the supply chain project in the Web3 environment.
• Lead the early phase of project development, including conceptualization, prototyping, and market validation.
• Identify and evaluate technology, market, and business opportunities in the supply chain and Web3 space.
• Build a network of industry experts, potential partners, and investors to support the project.
• Work closely with the technical team to integrate blockchain technologies and decentralized identity solutions into the supply chain.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities and risks and respond accordingly.
• Create business plans, pitch decks, and other materials to present the project to potential investors and partners.
• Promoting a collaborative and innovative company culture.
• Use your industry knowledge to identify market trends and strategic business opportunities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing entrepreneurial projects, ideally in the blockchain, supply chain, or Web3 space.
• Deep understanding of the supply chain industry and its challenges, as well as interest in innovative technologies and solutions.
• Experience in building and managing multidisciplinary teams, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex problems and develop creative solutions.
• A network of contacts in the supply chain industry is advantageous.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work in uncertain conditions and respond quickly to changing requirements.
• A passionate leader with experience in building teams and products from scratch.
• Perseverance and persistence to overcome the challenges that arise as a founder in everyday life.
• Graduated from a prestigious business school or university with a focus on entrepreneurship, startup business, or similar.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and networking skills, both in German and English.
• Growth mindset and a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to develop and implement creative solutions.
• Familiarity with strategic frameworks such as the Lean Method, OKR, etc.
