Start date , the initial fixed term is three years. (This is a fixed-term contract in accordance with Section 2 of the academic fixed-term labor contract act [Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz, WissZeitVG]).

Responsibilities:
Research associates will be expected primarily to teach and conduct research. The research associate will also have the opportunity to pursue further academic qualifications, in particular a doctoral dissertation. At least one-third of set working hours will be made available for the research associate's own academic work.


Profile:

A university degree in a relevant field.


You have a very good university degree (Master/Diploma) in psychology or a closely related field (e.g., cognitive sciences, neuroscience, etc.).

You are very proficient in English (oral and written). German proficiency is not necessary. Sound knowledge in experimental methods, study designs, and statistical analyses is required. Research experience and experience in programming (e.g., in R, or Matlab, Presentation, etc.) and eye-tracking are beneficial. Knowledge about developmental psychology, infant and child research, experience with advanced (multivariate) statistical methods are desirable.

You are highly motivated to conduct research, work independently as well as in teams, disseminate novel basic research findings at conferences and publish in international journals.

You will pursue a doctoral dissertation.
