THE ROLE & THE TEAM:

You will be part of the People & Organization (P&O) leadership team and report to the Director P&O, Logistics.

As the Head of P&O Operations, Logistics, you are responsible for the core of P&O in our German Logistic Warehouses.

The Head of P&O Logistics works in close partnership with the business leader of the German Warehouses and the senior leadership team to develop and execute the HR strategy and roadmap supporting the growth and health of the growing organization.

The HR leader will build an organization and culture that facilitates long-term business scale through the acquisition, development and retention of talent and the use/adoption of technologies in the delivery of our service.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING):

  • Create a unified organization that uniformly supports and develops employee engagement, leadership development and high organization development
  • Lead a direct team comprised of HR Managers in four different locations in Germany
  • Manage the strategic partnership with works councils in Germany
  • Partner with the Recruiting Leadership Team to build systemic and scalable recruiting programs that will enable the business teams to achieve their recruiting goals
  • Function as a consultant and counselor to business leaders and their respective organizations; must become a trusted and insightful HR partner to sr. leaders; engage in strategic planning meetings, annual off sites, and leadership staff meetings to translate business needs into HR plans
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency in HR processes to enable the organization to hire and develop talent at scale and consistently to our principles
  • Develop and build an awesome team of HR business partners

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or business-related field
  • You have 710 years of experience in HR leadership roles / Leaders of Leaders
  • You have experience in leading and developing HR professionals
  • You have detailed knowledge and experience when working with German works councils / German labor law
  • You have experience in organizational design and effectiveness
  • You have experience in managing performance
  • You are business fluent in German and English
  • You are passionate about the logistics and supply chain environment and have ideally experience in such an environment
