Traction Software Development Engineer (f/m/d) in Mannheim

At Alstom, we are passionate about developing green and smart mobility solutions. Our team in Mannheim is looking for a full-time Traction Software Development Engineer to join us in creating innovative technologies for locomotives and propulsion systems. If you are ready to be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of transportation, keep reading!

Your Future Role:

Design and implement software for traction converters and traction battery control solutions
Co-ordinate software design for traction control solutions with the Software and Control team
Support Control Engineers in writing functional requirement specifications
Responsible for configuration management of software projects

All About You:

Professional experience in railway technology or automotive industry
3+ years experience in embedded real-time software design
Advanced knowledge of SW development environments and programming languages
Good proficiency in simulation tools like Matlab/Simulink
Fluency in German and English
