First Nautical Officer on Board (M/F/d)

Your Responsibilities:

Responsible for navigating and manoeuvring the ship and operating the technical equipment
Liable for ensuring the ship's safety and for protecting the environment
Monitoring compliance with companywide regulations and quality control systems
Function as a host and a representative at the same time
Watch leader on watch as per schedule
Responsible for the education and professional growth of his Junior Officers/Cadet Officers as well as involvement of his own duties both during and while off watch and over viewing his off watch activities

Your Profile:

Diploma from an accredited maritime training school or facility and verifiable seafaring time, ideally on cruise vessels
Certified as management level Deck Officer in accordance with STCW 95, STCW II/
Extensive experience in leading positions on board ships and solid experience in all navigational electronic and computerized equipment
Excellent knowledge of all national and international safety and environmental regulations
Very good English and ideally Italian skills as well as proficient computer skills including MS Office
