Job Description:

The paralegal / legal assistant provides administrative and legal support to the Omio legal and compliance team.

This position will be responsible for a wide range of administrative support and work coordination, support for legal tools as well as support on the administration of contract review processes, and coordinating signatures of legal documents requested around the globe in accordance with a defined process.

This position will be performed under the supervision of the Head of Legal & Compliance.


You will be responsible to:


  • Provide general administrative support to the legal team in drafting and reviewing standard documents, terms and agreements, and supporting on daytoday matters; e.g. Review of customer legal claims, NDAs, insertion orders.
  • Assist the Compliance team with the configuration and implementation of a compliance management system and with the development and maintenance of policies & procedures.
  • Support data privacy activities according to international legislations under the guidance of the team;
  • Support the Legal team with the implementation and configuration of a contract and corporate management tool:
  • Assist with organization or training for internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for the migration of contracts and corporate documentation to the contract management tool, feeding the tool as appropriate;
  • Ensure electronic and hard copy document files are kept up to date, document scanning where needed;

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Legal or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluent in English and German; other languages are a plus
  • You have previous working experience in a law firm or at an inhouse legal department.
  • You are interested and enjoy legal administrative tasks
  • You have excellent organizational skills and you are eager to understand the business and corporate relationships
  • You work in a detailoriented and structured way
  • You have a processoriented approach to execute tasks
  • You are a very good team player and have strong communication skills
