The Team


The Alternatives team, within the Products, Platform and Sustainable Solutions (PPSS) group of the International Private Bank (IPB) is responsible for building and developing an alternatives proposition for a broad range of private clients globally.


You will be part of a core team with senior management to help build deliver and innovate new alternative offerings to our clients.

You will work with multiple internal stakeholders across the IPB including in Advisory and Sales (A&S) and our Chief Investment Office and team to deliver the proposition and a motivated self-starter is key to the role.


Your responsibilities

  • Building, developing and maintaining relationships with Advisory & Sales teams to help understand clients' needs and better understand their alternatives portfolios, Deutsche Bank's alternative product offering and the broader alternative investment landscape
  • Working closely with Advisory & Sales to design and support product campaigns for alternative products
  • Partnering with Advisory & Sales to manage strategyspecific existing client engagements across private markets, working alongside sales, fund research and external managers to deliver in a timely manner
  • Work with Chief Investment Office, research and external fund managers to develop content on alternative investments across topics including asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management
  • Key role in helping onboarding structuring partners to help driving scale within the business and helping to develop the client experience when investing in alternative investments
  • Manage a range of client and product data analytics (including product performance analyses and analyzing client capital raising outcomes)

Your qualifications

  • Significant experience in the alternatives investment industry in client/internal facing role. Prior private markets manager selection, investor relations, banking or capital markets experience is an asset
  • Strong interest in markets, asset management and understanding of traditional and alternative asset classes
  • Exhibit strong communication (verbally & written), interpersonal and organisational skills when engaging internally and externally with clients
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Team player that is selfmotivated and can demonstrate ability to position alternative investments with success with private clients
