Responsibilities:


As an Intelligence Planner, you will support US Army Europe/Africa G2 and other Intelligence related mission partners, as a key team member of a complex program that provides professional services in support of advisory and analysis efforts associated with Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWfF)mission areas.

The USAREUR-AF Team will research, analyze, and produce near
- and long-term all source assessments on terrorism / counterterrorism, and multi-discipline counter-intelligence issues in response to CG USAREUR-AF's priority intelligence requirements and to enable U.S. and foreign partner counterintelligence operations. You will be a member of a team that supports the Intelligence Directorate of the Army Component Command of both the US European Command and US Africa Command.


You will embed in either Wiesbaden Germany OR Vicenza Italy and may travel within the theaters as required.

  • Develop, review, and revise war plans and contingency operations plans and concepts.
  • Assess operational readiness and determine the capability of units, commanders, and staff elements.
  • Develop, review, and revise military training plans and standards.
  • Provide advice and recommendations to highlevel officials and operations personnel, coordinate issues, and deploy to attend conferences, meetings, conduct reconnaissance, and write military orders.
  • Assist in the daily handling and dissemination of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) to the Intelligence Community.
  • Review IIRs for grammar and proper formatting before forwarding them to specific external offices for review and comments.
  • Add field comments and update information in the Human Online Tasking and Reporting (HOT-R) system for release.
  • Maintain the Source Operations Management Module (SOMM) by ensuring all registration requirements and data points are properly noted.
  • Coordinate applicable actions with the SOMM manager at U.S. Africa Command (USAFRICOM).
  • Input and monitor data in the Joint Counterintelligence HUMINT Operations Portal.
  • Provide counterintelligence planning support, including briefings and debriefings.
  • Develop and coordinate counterintelligence (CI) support for operations and exercises.
  • Provide professional advice and recommendations regarding CI support for Research and Technology Protection.
  • Assess and identify alternative approaches for CI support to Force Protection, including participating in vulnerability assessments and reporting detection.
  • Provide guidance and technical support for reporting tactics, CI operations, tradecraft, and DoD CI Counterespionage (CE) investigations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • BS 57 Years, MS 35, PhD 0
  • Must POSSESS and be able to maintain a
    TS/SCI clearance

Equal Pay Act:
This is the projected compensation range for this position.

There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
