Your responsibilities:

- scientific research within a DFG funded project
  • Mallahi-Karai and Diederich (2019, 2021) proposed two models for general choice situations with an arbitrary number of alternatives. These models are based on a Wiener process in a higherdimensional space. The socalled cube model was designed for making a choice between any finite number of alternatives; the disk model can be viewed as a modification of the cube model involving three alternatives, one of which considered as a statusquo option.
The Postdoc is expected to work primarily on (1) and (3).


Your profile:


  • University degree (PhD) in Mathematical Psychology, Mathematics or comparable fields
  • Basic knowledge of quantitative/formal modeling
  • Very good command of English, both in written and oral communication
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
