Head Health, Safety and Environment for Onshore Germany (m/w/d) you are member of the GFO-G/LPG/LPD Leadership Teams, actively contributing to and co-owning the unit strategy development - reporting to the Director Health, Safety & Environment. Here you are

Your contribution to TenneT:

In cocreation with the business you are responsible for
establishing and
maintaining the unit specific
strategy roadmaps (short

- & midterm) based on the
HSE strategy, company roadmap and operational business needs, as well as ensuring its integration to the overall vision/strategy of GFO-G/LPG/LPD

You are driving and supporting the unit
specific implementation of the
HSE management system framework, processes and requirements
Owner of the Germany specific HSE Management System content
You establish a business segment specific
HSE performance monitoring/evaluation, including incident statistics and trends (trending analysis and report on quarterly basis) and encouraging cross unit learning & best practices sharing
You are the
representative for GFO-G/LPG/LPD in the
industry sector, towards
authorities and
nongovernmental organizations:
You are driving and supporting the
implementation (roll-out) of
TenneTs HSE risk management framework, this includes aspects like risk matrix, acceptance criteria, ALARP, hierarchy of controls and the RI&E. Here you are
coordinating and
organizing business segment (Germany) specific or unit specific
HSE campaigns and implementation plans (Communication and Promotion)
In cocreation with the business you are
defining and
maintaining unit specific
emergency response plans and ensure
emergency preparedness

Your profile and background:

To start with, you have an
academic working and
thinking level and a relevant
master degree in environmental engineering, safety engineering or a study with focus in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering furthermore you have
profound working experience in general and in a leading position with proven track record in business performance management and business performance improvement preferably in environmental or safety engineering in sectors like Energy and Technology
Beside this you can identify yourself with the following

The department Health, Safety and Environment Germany ensures and supports HSE compliance for the units Grid Field Operations Germany, Large Projects Germany and Large Projects DC based on TenneT guidelines and principles. Furthermore, the team supports establishing a top class safety culture and and environment in which it is possible for everyone to go home safe every day.
