About the job

Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall's Onshore and Offshore Wind and other non-hydro Renewable activities. Today we develop, construct, and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

For our Business Area Wind we are looking for a

Working Student - Business Excellence

for our office in Hamburg.


Business Excellence team is responsible to support BU Onshore in improving and further developing its operating model and ways of working.

This covers scoping and driving cross-BU improvement projects and developing the BU process management framework.

In this role you will be assigned to operational activities related to Jupiter, an internally developed project management tool, and you will also be supporting on topics related to business process management.


Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Drive activities related to our project management tool, Jupiter:

  • Support the Product Owner in the continued roll-out
  • Assist in the coordination, organization and execution of introduction and onboarding sessions
  • 1st line of support to project team members
  • Update Jupiter documentation (e.g. user guide, admin guide etc.)
  • Update FAQ page (SharePoint)
Support BE team in the area of Business Process Management:

  • Support our Business Excellence Team in day-to-day business
  • Support with process documentation (e.g. flowcharts, RASCI's, etc.)
  • Support in the implementation of new digital tools that improve our ways of working
  • Support in the maintenance of our Business Process Management System and related tools
  • Support analyzing process documentation for quality criteria
  • Assist in evaluating process maturity and process performance
  • Develop templates helping Process Owners & Managers improve their work and ensuring a standardized "look & feel"
  • Prepare communication material

Profile:


  • You study business, economics, communication or a comparable course of studies and are at least in the third semester of your bachelor's degree or in your master's degree
  • You have an analytical mindset, and have experience structuring and analyzing data
  • You are comfortable familiarizing yourself with new IT tools
  • You enjoy working with people and with some degree of independence
  • You are service minded and can see yourself thriving in the role as 1st line of support to project team members
  • You have an eye for details and keep an overview and structure, also when times are busy
  • You are fluent in English written and spoken
  • Preferably you have initial knowledge of Project Management topics and Business Process Management
  • You are familiar with Office365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams etc.)
Additional information

  • Start date: as soon as possible
  • Working hours: 20 hours/week during university term, up to 40 hours/week during term breaks. Presence in the office will be required.
  • Duration: minimum 6 months to a year
