Strategic buyer for Aerostructures composites parts (f/m/d)
**You will be at the heart of multi functional Teams (MFTs) to bring the best procurement service, at the best cost to our Airbus Aerostructures plants. (Stade, Bremen, Hamburg, Augsburg, Nordenham, Varel)

Working in MFT, interfacing with external suppliers is a true opportunity for personal and leadership growth.

Your location
The largest production site for civil aircraft can be found in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe means that you will travel to work by ship. The vibrant port of Hamburg is a green and cosmopolitan city brimming with culture.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Perform international Call for Tender (CFTs), within the scope of the category. Conduct negotiations, Supplier selection and contracting.
Negotiate, establish, implement and regularly review transnational and transdivisional Contracts in the frame of the respective category strategy.
Perform contract management activities with regular contract reviews with Airbus Aerostructure internal customer base and strategic suppliers, based on consistent and factual commercial, quality and delivery KPIs.
Manage the day to day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.
Define and implement categoryspecific purchasing strategies. Initiate strategic supplier developments

Desired skills and qualifications

University degree (Bachelor/Master) from an Engineering/Business school
Negotiation level of English and German is mandatory.
The successful applicant will have to be a great team player and project leader, dealing appropriately with different stakeholders.
Exceptional communicator: great relationship builder/manager, able to work crossfunctionally and able to communicate intangible results in a clear and compelling way
