iBeat has an office in the Factory in Berlin.

We are currently supporting XEMPUS, Europe ́s leading independent Software-as-Service (SaaS) platform for the distribution of pension and life insurance with the mission of making pension and life insurance digitally understandable, efficient, and accessible for everyone.

XEMPUS is seeking to support their further growth and to prepare for their internationalization projects, they are now looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist.

WHAT'S WAITING FOR YOU:

Accounts payable including credit card & travel expense reports
Responsible for general payment transactions and dunning
Creation and maintenance of master data (SAP FI)
Reconciliation of accounts and open positions
Execution of advance sales tax returns
Preparation of taxation of benefits in kind (flatrate income tax)
Active support for optimization and digitalization projects in the finance area and possibly also own responsibility for projects on a smaller scale
Support in the implementation, documentation and continuous development of our internal control system (ICS)
Responsible for the proper preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (HGB/IFRS/StR), using the accounting guidelines in your area
Expert and trustworthy contact externally (auditors, tax advisors and authorities) and internally (controlling, management, people leads)
Completed business studies and/or completed commercial training with the additional qualification of accountant
At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in an international and fastgrowing environment
Initial experience in leadership and collaboration in projects
Sound knowledge of accounting (HGB, IFRS) and tax law (especially sales tax, income taxes, withholding tax, flatrate wage taxation)
Affinity and passion for Excel and practical experience in dealing with ERP systems, SAP ByD desirable
Energy and fun working in accounting and joy in making sure "the store runs smoothly"
Position requires presence in the office in Munich 12 days per week
Fluent knowledge of German is mandatory, knowledge of English is an advantage
Appreciate solutionoriented communication at eye level
