The Compliance working student (M/F/d) is part of BorgWarner's Global Compliance / Data Privacy Office, supporting all type of compliance matters/initiatives.

The Compliance working student (M/F/d) will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn about compliance and data privacy projects.

BorgWarner internships provide entry-level professionals with real-world learning opportunities in a fun environment to help build future careers.

The Compliance working student (M/F/d) will work within the Compliance/Data Privacy team, but may interface with other BorgWarner departments such as HR and IT.

the. The Compliance Intern will report directly to the Global Data Privacy Counsel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support in the maintenance of BorgWarner's data management system
Assist in developing and delivering data privacy training to employees
Support in building and maintaining reporting dashboards
Assist with compliance investigations
Work with GDPC on special projects
Other tasks as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled at an accredited college or university studying law, data protection, compliance, or related field
Data privacy or compliance experience is a plus
Experience working at a global company is a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong communications skills both verbal and written
Analytical thinking, including the ability to work with data
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to partner with crossfunctional teams
Proficiency in German and English
Proficiency in other European language is a plus
Affinity for working with people in a team environment and professional demeanor
Ability and willingness to work in an international environment across multiple time zones,
Ability to multitask

WORK FLEXIBILITY

Occasional travel
Remote work opportunities
