Job purpose
Support implementation of the existing Data Protection Compliance Program (DPCP) on global, as well as local level

Continue monitoring of implementation of DPCP, including regular audit of various legal entities

Serve as a team of the Global Privacy Team

Support IT Application managers with assessment of various products (DPRs), as well as complete DPIAs

Guide IT managers in completing authorization and deletion concepts

Responsible for developing a treatment plan process, including regular follow and reporting

Develop onboarding training and support material for new DPOs

Support in creation of new training sessions, including regular implementation of global applicable laws

Support in contract negotiations and cooperation with procurement


Principal accountabilities

  • Continuing implementation of Data Protection Compliance Program
  • Engages in negotiations with external and internal stakeholders in relation to data protection matters to ensure legal compliance and contractual parameters align to policy parameters
  • Create an ongoing awareness training program for the data protection community, as well as department specific
  • Provide advice and responses to emerging questions
  • Support in data breach investigations in accordance with policy and legal parameters, ensuring effective engagement with relevant stakeholders (including notification and registrations with relevant data protection authorities)
  • Advise on business decisions with clients/customers and definition of relevant terms and conditions in line with Group/Division standards and guidelines

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Works independently with limited supervision, selfmotivated individual
  • Ability to advise on processes and procedure against operational resistance across all regions and Global workforce
  • Ability to advise on Global and Regional developments and ensure compliance without direct reporting relationship
  • Basic knowledge and awareness of current data management and communication technologies
  • More than 5 years experience in a data protection global complex environment, having in depth experience of global compliance regulation and legal landscapes including GDPR
  • Broad IT service / technical understanding
  • Graduate experience/qualification
  • Significant experience of complex organizations and leadership structures 5 years +
