CSA Lead - Frankfurt Germany
The CSA Lead required to join one of Europe's leading contractors on a
Data Centre project in
Frankfurt, Germany the
CSA Lead will report into the CSA Project Manager and be responsible for the working with a team of Electrical sub-contractors ensuring the successful delivery of Electrical systems.

Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with directors, management, and support functions in all Business Units to ensure the highest standards of CSA performance, deliverables, and value engineering are consistently met.
- Leading, mentoring, and monitoring the CSA activities of our dedicated staff.
- Building and growing the CSA team as per project requirements.
- While primarily based at the head office, the CSA QA lead will be expected to travel approximately 50% of the time to all operational locations.
- Ensuring that all CSA QA processes are accurate and up to date for all geographical areas where the company operates.
- Offering valuable insights throughout all project phases, from tendering to project handover.
- Supporting the coordination, monitoring, and inspection of onsite work to ensure compliance with contracts, design drawings, specifications, regulations, and standards.
- Providing documented findings on both conformance and nonconformance to the management team.
- Reviewing contract documents, design drawings, and specifications to maintain awareness and ensure operational business units and support functions fully understand CSA requirements, project documentation, and employer's needs.
- Conducting project observations and spotchecks of ongoing work to verify compliance, identify noncompliant practices, and coordinate corrective actions in line with approved methods and best practices.
- Ensuring contract compliance, including conducting specified tests and the installation of materials and equipment as per the contract, while documenting and reporting deficiencies to management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction sector.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional quality control/quality assurance experience.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
- Chartered Engineering in either Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Demonstrated practical onsite experience in CSA works, both temporary and permanent.
- A high level of organizational skills, construction inspection, and recordkeeping abilities, with the capacity to work independently.
- A detailed understanding of industry QA standards, procedures, and processes.
- Leadership skills, including team building, coaching, mentoring, change management, and advisory capabilities.
- Multitasking abilities, with proficiency in prioritizing, organizing, and scheduling work.
