What part will you play?


You will support the Head of Corporate product-related Environmental Protection at P&O EHS EP in setting up company-wide governance structures and processes for answering environmental requests.


Your tasks

  • You lead the companywide governance structures and processes for environmental stakeholder requests focusing on corporate productrelated and industrial environmental protection, this includes to set up structures and processes for requests, design reporting elements while considering new legal requirements and international standards, prepare sustainability requests and rating elements as well as perform control duties
  • To support the companywide guideline competence you monitor and train on current developments and legal regulations, lead planning and development of rating content, analyze rating gaps, identify potential for improvement and set up projects to close gaps
  • Further you support the planning and development processes and tools to guide and optimize the productrelated and industrial environmental protection rating performance
  • Represent and assert the company's productrelated and industrial environmental protection interests in/with external ratingrelated working groups (e.g., industrial committees, associations, standardization bodies and other organizations)
  • You prepare analyses and key figure reports for investors and stakeholders while involving internals at all organizational levels needed for timely and highquality answers and contribute to the annual rating elements of external rated questionnaires
  • Set up an environmental rating controlling which includes a management concept with focus on the emerging fields of climate change, pollution, water, biodiversity and resource use
  • You support controlling e.g., in development and systematic monitoring of KPIs introduced to the company as well as analyze and assess changes on company level, participate in audits and assessments in cooperation with the businesses and countries, in evaluating reviews and developing handling and decision requirements
  • Further you support the development of communication concepts and content on the topic as well as the implementation of marketing and communication activities internally and externally

What you need to make real what matters.

  • Master's degree in environmental management, environmental engineering, environmental sustainability, or comparable education
  • Longterm experience in environmental protectionrelated investor rating agencies requirements
  • Several years of experience in analysis of Green Deal legislation, in particular CSRD
  • As well as several years of experience in intercultural cooperation and in supporting international and complex projects and project teams
  • Detailed expertise in standardization, legislation and assessment of environmental impacts
  • Advanced communication techniques and ability to tailor communication to different target groups
  • Business fluent English language skills
