Mission and responsibilities:


  • Strategic Procurement Planning: Developing and implementing a procurement strategy that meets the company's requirements for chemicals, packaging materials, services, logistics, and energy. Identifying procurement sources and evaluating suppliers
  • Supplier Management: Selecting and evaluating suppliers based on quality standards, pricing, delivery capabilities, and sustainability criteria. Building and maintaining longterm partnerships with suppliers
  • Contract Negotiations: Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best prices, delivery conditions, and quality. Reviewing contracts for compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
  • Procurement Process: Monitoring and optimizing the entire procurement process, including order processing, contract management, invoice verification, and delivery monitoring. Ensuring timely and efficient procurement of chemicals, packaging materials, services, logistics, and energy
  • Cost Management: Identifying costsaving opportunities and implementing measures to optimize costs in the procurement area. Monitoring and controlling the procurement budget
  • Risk Management: Assessing and monitoring risks related to the procurement of chemicals, packaging materials, services, logistics, and energy. Developing measures to minimize risks and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards

Other Departments:
Close collaboration with production, quality management, sales, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth delivery of materials and services


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in procurement, preferably in the chemical industry
  • Expertise in the area of chemicals, packaging materials, services, logistics, and energy
  • Strong negotiation an communication skills
  • Knowledge of contract law
  • Analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities
  • Teamoriented approach and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Creativity reliability, teamwork and integrity
  • Proficiency in SAP or other procurement systems is advantageous
  • Good command of English
