What you will enjoy doing

  • As a Project Buyer you will be responsible for commercial execution of project purchasing e.g. selecting bidders, designing contracts, negotiating commercial conditions and prices (incl. LDs / claims)
  • Preparation and implementation of project
- and product-specific procurement strategies including update of the relevant bidder lists is also part of your role

  • Further you identify cost optimization potential based on a close cooperation and alignment with the relevant engineering disciplines
  • You prepare and negotiate frame agreements and strategic supplier alliances including supplier development and relationship management
  • In addition you perform benchmarks and market analyses
  • You are responsible for continuous and adhoc reporting on markets, suppliers and KPIs
  • In the same way you will take on the continuous assessment and improvement of procurement strategies and processes

What makes you great

  • You have an academic degree in business administration, engineering or science (Bachelor, Master or equivalent)
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of procurement of capital goods and/or (largescale) project business
  • Further you work ambitious, independent and targetoriented with a strong cando attitude
  • You have an openminded personality and distinct problemsolving skills
  • Enthusiasm for digital transformation of procurement is also needed for this role
  • Knowledge of procurement SAP modules is advantageous and you have proficiency MS Office skills
  • You are fluent in English and German, both verbally and in writing
