Your role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Scientist (all genders) to work in the mRNA Process and delivery team within the Life Science Service Innovation Team.

In this role, you will work on laboratory scale plasmid synthesis, expansion and purification.

Your tasks will include the development and optimization of state-of-the-art processes and protocols for the plasmid synthesis and purification, and its quality control using advanced analytic methods.

Your responsibilities will include designing the experiments, performing assays required to characterize the product and interpreting your data to present to a wide, interdisciplinary audience.

The applicant should be innovative, highly collaborative and a team player with excellent communication.

Who you are:

B.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline or Biology Lab technician (all genders) with apprenticeship and 34 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and experience with plasmid synthesis, expansion and purification.
Knowledge of basic molecular biology methods (and their troubleshooting), including cloning, CE etc.
Working familiarity with PCR is preferred.
Selfmotivated, driven, curious, and able to work without close supervision from senior scientific staff.
Organized and detail oriented with strong communication and team skills.
Fluent spoken and written German and English.
