What awaits you

The time has finally come and you have completed your studies or are about to do so and are looking forward to contributing your acquired knowledge and creative ideas to our company During the 15-month trainee program, you will gain intensive insights into the global Procurement function and get to know the work processes in an internationally operating group by working at various locations.

During the program, you will be mentored by experienced managers from the Procurement organization.

You will develop your technical and methodological skills on-the-job by taking on your own projects as well as off-the-job in seminars and training sessions, such as project management, presentation training, etc.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a project on social and/or sustainable issues. These activities take place together with other Evonik trainees. A 3-month stay abroad is also part of the program.

Join from September 01, 2023 (or later in 2023) as part of our global procurement team with around 400 employees and start your individual management career in the Evonik Group.

Responsibilities:

Get to know the different procurement functions and tasks at

Evonik Industries:
this includes an introduction to the operational business as well as to the strategic procurement functions Get to know the relevant procurement tools and processes on-the-job and take initial responsibility for smaller projects- Expand your technical and methodological expertise together with trainees from other functions and build a network in and outside Procurement

Requirements:

Aboveaverage degree in business administration or science/technology ideally with a focus on procurement, supply chain management or logistics
First practical experience (for example through internships)
Knowledge in the area of digitalization/ automation/ big data analytics
First intercultural experience through experience abroad
Business fluent in German and English as well as nationwide and international mobility
Very good communication skills and enjoy working in an international team
Outstanding analytical skills, independence as well as sense of responsibility
Entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as creativity
