FUNCTIONAL SAFETY EXPERT (M/W/D)

YOUR TASKS:

Your area of responsibility consists of management of functional safety according to ISO 26262 including planning, organization of activities and regular reporting such as creation and agreement of the safety plan, reporting/escalation, conclusion of the safety case and support preparation of release recommendations

- perform and moderate safety analyses such as FMEA, FTA, FMEDA and DFA
- execution of impact analyses and reviews, tailoring of processes
- responsibility for the creation of the technical safety concept
- contribution to the creation of architectural concepts in all disciplines (system, hardware, software)
- monitoring suppliers in the context of Functional Safety such as scope agreement, DIA, review of work products in case of a distributed development
- supporting the preparation of test plans and specifications based on criteria resulting from the technical safety concept
- supporting and/or reviewing hardware and software safety related work products in accordance with ISO and ISO

Collaborating with international project teams

YOUR PROFILE:
- successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable qualification
- good knowledge of Functional Safety according to ISO 26262 or IEC61508 (>3years is preferred)
- experience with failure analysis methodologies, such as FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, DFA
- good experience in systems
- and requirement engineering
- knowledge of SOTIF, such as ISO/PAS 21448 is an advantage
- good understanding of software and/or hardware development as well as integration and testing is an advantage
- working experience with V-model development and software quality management such as ASPICE is preferred
