We are looking for a new colleague in our department Corporate Data Privacy at our location in Passau


Your responsibilities as Divisional Data Privacy Officer (M/F/d):

  • You are responsible for the Data Protection Management System within Division and act as the DPO of the Division's legal entities, or you team up with existing DPOs
  • You advise and supervise our business units' compliance with national and international data protection regulations and assess new digital business projects and processing operations for data protection requirements
  • You support our business units on all data protection matters and on implementing the right solutions, in performing data privacy impact assessments and in maintaining the records of processing activities
  • You promote a culture of data protection across our division and familiarize its business units of their obligations and you are part of the further development of data protection within ZF Group

Your qualifications as Divisional Data Privacy Officer (M/F/d):

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of law, business, IT or similar and minimum 3 years (the more the better) of professional data privacy experience in an international environment
  • In depth understanding of the international data privacy regulatory environment, in particular the EU GDPR
  • Understanding of data driven businesses and understanding AI, IT Systems & cloud environments
  • Ability to understand market and business needs while safeguarding privacy compliance
  • Fluent English skills, further languages may be a benefit and confident appearance in negotiations and strong communication skills
