Your responsibilities:

Overall:

Ensures that customers are supported with innovative products/solutions at competitive costs and lead times and in compliance to the necessary regulations
Constantly drives, monitors and reports key performance indicators of the product line, such as revenues, margins, growth and profitability
Supports the strategy with business plans and actions on plant, portfolio, regional and company level
Drives and takes care of the product line according to the 4Ps within the product house organization

New Product Development and Introduction:

Works on the forefront with sales and marketing to identify new markets, niches and opportunities
Researches and analyses market conditions, identifies competitors, technologies and customer trends to transform these into a future ready portfolio roadmap
Drives for a timely development and launch of such new products and solutions with R&D, develops pricing strategy and prepares marketing concept in support of MarCom

Product life cycle management:

Identifies the need for phase lifts, repositioning, phaseouts and cost downs and transforms these into appropriate actions, i.e. product life cycle management and road map
Assures that product information in collateral, ERP and PIM are up to date

Your profile:

Technical knowledge and working experience in the field of building products with resistance to fire and/or electrical cables
Diploma, Bachelor or Master in Economics or Engineering
Proven record of success and skillset in Product Management.
Thinks like an entrepreneur and is highly customer oriented
Organizational, analytical

- and problem solving skills

Comfortable to communicate over all levels up to CEO level, good visualization and communication skills
Collaborative approach and ability to work with distributed, crossfunctional teams
