Responsibilities:

Learning of elementary knowledge of public relations, journalism, from marketing and social media
Research and formulation of press releases and articles
Collaboration on the staff magazine
Collaboration on the corporate intranet, the Freudenberg Group's Internet sites
Group websites and Web 2.0 strategy
Operational support for project workflow and coordination
Preparation of presentations
Support for internal and external events
Coordination and agreement with service providers
Maintenance of media databases

Qualifications:

Completed studies in journalism/public relations, media studies, communication sciences, marketing, social media
Previous experience through internships and/or freelance work in press offices as well as with media (press, radio, television)
Very good English skills and another foreign language as well as experience abroad is mandatory
Knowledge of Web 2.0 and social networks
Initial experience in working with content management systems
Advantageous: previous knowledge in the field of marketing communication
Fun and confidence in dealing with people and new situations
Creativity, initiative, ability to work in a team and organizational skills
