In order to support the Materials and Processes department, Airbus Defence and Space is offering an

Internship in the field of corrosion behavior of cold sprayed aluminium layers (d/f/m):

Location: Manching
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 36 months

Located about an hour's drive north of Munich, Manching is an up-and-coming market town that offers a wide range of leisure and cultural activities.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Support with
Planning
Implementation
Evaluation

of tests to investigate the corrosion behaviour of cold sprayed aluminium coatings.

Support in the area of surface engineering:
Planning
Execution
Evaluation

of tests to characterise different paint systems.

Desired skills and qualifications:

Enrolled student (d/f/m) in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, surface

engineering, chemistry or a similar field of study.

Knowledge of basic corrosion processes in aluminium alloys.
Basic knowledge of surface protection.
Advanced knowledge of German and/or English.
