About this role:

At Novocarbo, we work as a team to solve one of the most important problems of our time: our goal is to store
100 million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere annually, making a significant
contribution to achieving climate goals.

We are one of the largest producers and distributors of biochar in Europe and sell our Carbon Removal Credits to renowned companies worldwide.

Several new sites for the production of biochar and regenerative heat are already in planning.

To continue this positive momentum, we are looking for a
Working Student Project Management (all genders). This position is a crucial part for the construction of new production sites and will play a valuable role in the company's growth.

Following tasks are in focus of your role:

Assist the project management team in coordinating and executing various project tasks throughout the whole project management cycle for new Novocarbo production sites.
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, proposing solutions as needed.
Conduct research and gather data to support project planning and decisionmaking for continuous improvements.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
Support in the procurement process and liaise with vendors and contractors.
Prepare and maintain internal and external project documentation, including schedules, reports, and presentations.

Your profile:

These are your technical qualifications we'd appreciate:

You are enrolled as a student in a degree focused on civil engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering and are available to work with us for at least another 12 months.
You have first experience in working in project teams and bring a good technical understanding of processing equipment and commercial implications. Relevant internships in engineering and / or project management are advantageous.
You communicate fluently in German (C1) and English (C1). Any other language is a plus.
You have a high ITtool affinity: we mainly work with MS 365 and Notion.
