YOUR ROLE:

In your role as the venture lead you will have the overall responsibility for the development and success of one or more digital ventures in Adhesive Technologies, incl. leading crossfunctional venture teams. In earlier venture phases, this role resembles a project lead or venture architect with E2E responsibility. In later venture phases the role could be similar to the founder of a startup.
Take endtoend responsibility of the development of digital ventures (incl. e.g., business development, marketing, product management, financial planning, develop operations and structures, and related project management activities) with a handson mentality
Act as inspiring leader with a digital and entrepreneurial mindset who embodies the venture vision
Lead and provide (strategic) guidance to venture team (incl. internal and external specialists) in order to build, test and launch new digital business
Prioritize tasks/backlog based on market and customer insights and requirements
Identify new partnership opportunities to enable the company to develop
Assess and critically review the venture on a continuous basis, to derive improvements for the venture's success and growth and to take decisions (i.e., continue, stop, pivot)
Ensure all project decisions are in line with venture goals, with existing governance, and with the strategy of Adhesive Technologies
Serve as change agent across the organization and ensure collaboration and knowledge sharing
Manage internal and external stakeholders proactively

YOUR SKILLS:

Master's degree in Business Administration, IT, Digital, Innovation & Technology, Engineering, or another relevant field
Minimum 5 years work experience in venture building, either in corporate or startup or consulting context
Extensive experience and proven track record in managing complex and agile projects in a multistakeholder environment
Ability to bring multidisciplinary teams together to create a strong, cohesive and collaborative team culture
Credible understanding of existing and emerging digital technologies
Good understanding of digital product development
Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate decisions with top management
Fluent English language skills, German is a plus #LI-Hybrid
