In order to support the training of helicopter pilots and technicians, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a

Internship within Design and construction of a virtual helicopter based on 3D CATIA data (d/f/m):

Your location:

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

- creation of CATIA 3D data (modeling of complex components)
- definition and implementation of kinematics for moving components
- entering and maintaining data in VPM System (virtual product management)
- management of 3D data modifications in configuration
- preparation of 3D data for implementation in training tool
- validation of implementation in training tools

Desired skills and qualifications:

Enrolled fulltime student (d/f/m) in the area of aeronautical or mechanical engineering or an equivalent field of study.
First practical experience in the field of 3D design (design and engineering software, CATIA V5, 3DVIA Composer) is desirable.
Fluent in English.
