The role will be working with a wider Boeing European team managing the quality aspects of the supply base for all military products in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Management of a portfolio of suppliers including:
- Supplier oversight and surveillance.
- Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) review and acceptance.
- Supplier development and mentoring.
- Earlier Quality Involvement (EQI) and Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) implementation.
- Continuous improvement internal and external.
- Creating and presenting metrics and performance data.
- Product inspection and acceptance into the Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS).
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years work experience in Quality/ Supplier Quality/ Supplier Management
- Driver's license full and clean
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Business English, second language would be an advantage
- Must have willingness to travel on a frequent basis

Preferred skills and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree within Electrical/Avionic or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification
- Experience in the inspection of machined and fabricated parts and assemblies and knowledge of electrical/electronic parts, experience on wire looms would be an advantage.
- Experience in the review of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to the AS9102 standard, be able to articulate noncompliance/conformities to the document owners and progress through to a compliant resolution. Knowledge and experience of the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA)
- Experience in Auditing techniques to AS9100 would be an advantage.
- A high level of attention to detail and professional integrity.
- Ability to work on multiple programs with varying level of requirements efficiently and optimally.
- Must have experience as a Quality Inspector or in the use of associated inspection equipment and processes A solid understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
- Must be able to work efficiently in a virtual environment; time management skills are crucial
