Job Purpose/Role:

We are looking for you We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Outsourcing Officer (f/m/d). This position is based in our Munich office and reports directly to the Head of Operational Governance.

Within this role, you will be responsible to take the contract and vendor compliance capability to the next level.

You will operate at multiple levels within the organization, designing and implementing a multidisciplinary oversight framework, closely handling Business Owners and process partners.


Key responsibilities:


  • Facilitate and monitor the implementation of Allianz Direct Outsourcing Policy across Allianz Direct and its branches;
  • Set the compliance standards for contracts and outsourcing relationships jointly with other process owners (e.g., Data Privacy, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance, Information Security, Business Resilience, Vendor Management)
  • Maintain the outsourcing inventory of all outsourcing agreements and key supporting documentation of the Outsourcing process (e.g., Risk Assessment, Business Plan, Due Diligence, BoM approvals etc.);
  • Keep up to date the Outsourcing framework including, but not limited to standards, processes, documentation, and regulatory obligations;
  • Guide business owners through the outsourcing lifecycle including;
  • Advise and supervise Business Owners to identify noncompliant contract relationships and recommend required actions to remediate deviations;
  • Act as key counterpart to other relevant stockholding functions such as: Risk Management, Data Privacy, ISO, Legal and Compliance to maintain an adequate level of compliance in alignment with new regulations and amends;

Qualifications/Key skills:


  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Business Management, or related field of study
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Vendor Management, Contract Management, Outsourcing Management or other related roles
  • Knowledge of national regulatory requirements in the insurance services industry
  • Proven abilities to interpret and, translate regulatory requirements into operational processes
  • Experience in analysing, implementing, and supervising regulatory requirements
  • Ability to develop practical guidelines and templates by combining regulatory understanding with business and process knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Proficiency in English required
