We are currently looking for a
Senior Controller (f/m/x) to support our Finance Team in Berlin.

What will keep you challenged?

Responsible for the controlling at ELEMENT with a focus on the areas of insurance product, claims and sales controlling.
You will carry out portfolio analyzes with the Insurance & Sales team for the products that we develop with our partners.
You plan, develop, create, control, analyze clearly structured standard reports as well as adhoc evaluations.
You take care of analyzes and reports for the continuous improvement of our sales processes.
You are responsible for the development of the planning and forecasting process.
Consult our executives and management especially on all aspects of planning, analyzing business development and setting control impulses.
You will work closely with the actuarial, risk management, finance, insurance product, sales and business intelligence departments. You will advise on new insurance products, sales channels and partner distribution.

What will make you succeed?

At least 57 years of professional experience in finance (experience as a controller in an insurance company)
A completed degree with a focus on Finance.
A desire to generate and design new analytics models, for example through data sciencebased approaches.
Relevant experience in creating and reviewing financial models.
Very good knowledge of Excel, good knowledge of SQL and TABLEAU or similar tools
The desire to work across divisions and departments and to use the creative freedom in a young company.
High level of initiative and good negotiating skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
