Your role:

As an
Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be based in our HQ in Berlin. You will work closely with different internal and external stakeholders from around the globe and handle the company's accounting. Additionally, you'll enable the management and other teams to operate and drive decisions based on the latest financial data.


Your responsibilities:


  • Processing of ongoing financial accounting
  • Prepare monthly accounting entries and reconciliations
  • Management of accounts payable: supplier transactions, vendor accounts, postings, expense reports, account reconciliation and schedule payment runs
  • Preparation of annual financial statements according to HGB and other entities' local GAAP
  • Ensuring that local compliance requirements are met

What you bring:

years of accounting and finance experience, a degree in Finance/Accounting is a plus

  • Sound accounting skills good knowledge of the general ledger and charts of accounts including accounts payable subledger with proven handson experience throughout the Accounts Payable process
  • You have worked with traditional accounting systems: experience with Netsuite (Oracle) is a big plus
  • Team player with selfstarter mentality, analytical mindset with a structured way of working and a love for numbers
  • Fluent in English, German (minimum B2 level)
