Northvolt is excited to scale up our next giga factory in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein.
It is one of the biggest developments that has ever happened in northern Germany.

Above generating more than 3000 direct jobs at site, it changes the local community in its foundations since is the start of a new industrial era.

To enable this set-up we are looking for a driven and positive
Relocation Specialist to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future.

The role is a part of our passionate People & Culture Team in Germany.

By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing and ramping up relocation services and contribute to building our next large scale European battery factory.

About the job
Northvolt offers a full circle of relocation services to international employees and their families.

Our relocation team work with hands and feet on the ground to develop, drive and ensure success in the establishment from an employee's perspective.

Description of tasks:

Support new hires with their long term home finding ie search for suitable properties, review and draft lease contracts, ensure move in and hand over of keys and other practical related questions
Communicate and negotiate with landlords and rental agents
Administrate temporary accommodation when needed provided by the company
Support with local registration in Germany such as tax office, social insurance, banking, schooling and more depending on needs
Financial and statistical reports
Take part in building a scalable relocation process and administration of assigned cases

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you:

Are fluent in English and German
Got experience from other service related work and administrative tasks
Got proficiency in Microsoft Office
Have a driving license

Bonus points for:

Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
Fluency in other languages
Personal relocation experience from living abroad
