Position:

Great opportunity to join our team in Munich as a full time Sales Representative for South West Germany. This role will be integral to advancing Equip's global growth strategy.

Your role will involve managing accounts in South West Germany.

You will be the lead for your accounts, responsible for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in sales, marketing, product development, and operations within the realm of technical outdoor clothing and equipment distribution.

Collaborating closely with other members of the Equip Sales Team and the Sales Manager, you will contribute to the development and execution of a tailored sales strategy for your market.

This strategy is pivotal to achieving Equip's global growth ambitions.


Key Responsibilities of Sales Representative (including but not limited to):

  • Present, promote and sell company products and services to current and potential customers to agreed targets
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective business and customer relationships at all levels including buyers, managers and staff
  • Be the first point of contact for our brands in our territory, delivering excellent service and advice
  • Achieve customer leads through cold calling
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and seasonal sales goals/results within timelines and in line with Company expectations
  • Manage all aspects of the sell in and sell through following the set out seasonal timelines and support information provided, including the delivery of staff training
  • Champion and present the Company brands using Marketing support and resources supplied
  • Participate in events such as product launches, trade shows, marketing events, etc
  • Report and provide feedback to Sales Management on market, sales and financial data
  • Provide management with reports on customer needs, issues, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
  • Engage with customers to truly understand their needs
  • Assist in the development and execution of the Equip sales programme
  • Provide answers to technical product questions and assist consumers with product selection
  • Develop a strong understanding of Rab & Lowe Alpine products, policies and services
  • Keeping track of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuous improvement through feedback

Requirements:

To join us as
Sales Representative you must have:

Essential

  • Significant experience in a similar role and deep understanding of Outdoor industry
  • Extensive knowledge of retailer landscape in your territory/specified region
  • Experience with outdoor apparel and supporting customers with their product needs
  • Strong foundation of technical product knowledge, personal experience using outdoor products
  • Ability to share your expertise and experiences to enhance the customer's journey
  • Passion for outdoor activities, including but not limited to hiking, climbing, skiing, running & biking
  • Able to operate effectively and professionally under pressure, work in both solo and group settings
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent critical thinking and communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a serviceoriented mindset
  • Current full drivers licence
  • Ability to prioritize and plan with a "hands on" approach
  • Fluent in German and English languages
