Director Infrastructure Technology & Corporate Services (M/F/d)**
Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • The position is a member of the Global Procurement leadership team and works closely with senior leadership in IT, Digital, HR, Finance, HSES, and Legal
  • Partners with corporate functions to develop strategies for sourcing technology and services in a sustainable manner that leverages the scale of the company globally
  • Accountable for sustained Polaris value generation and coowned Polaris value generation targets with earnings statement and/or balance sheet impact through innovation and thought leadership
  • Develop, implement and manage strategic sourcing plans using 7 step process for Technology and Corporate Services, including but not limited to contingent labor, global travel, site/facility services, consulting services, IT hardware/software/telecom, digital support/service, and others
  • Manages category/sourcing resources, budgets, scope, and timelines to plan and communicates status regularly internally and externally with clients, stakeholders and other LYB teams
  • Identifies and develops multiyear contract roadmaps which are aligned to enterprisewide, longterm business strategies and objectives
  • Builds and maintains vested or agile relationships with select strategic suppliers to enable corporate strategic aspirations
  • Role oversees the sourcing and administration of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and its associated procedures related to contingent workers and the global travel management program
  • Ensures supply continuity and proactively manages risk exposure via multisourcing and other risk reduction techniques
  • Accountable for the administration of the following corporate policies: Global Travel, Global Fleet and Pool Car
  • Accountable for the efficiency and effectiveness of the end to end source to pay process for Corporate Services and IT using digital enablement
  • Ensures strategy is in place to securing talent for the future and developing existing talent; provides mentoring as a cornerstone for succession planning
  • Participates in external forums/consortiums to build competitive knowledge and benchmark performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/ Master ́s degree in Business, IT/ Digital, Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline required
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience, of which, at least 10 years are in a senior position, in a multientity, complex global environment in the Petrochemical or Technology industry
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing efforts in the IT or Corporate Service categories is preferred
  • Proven track record in negotiating complex commercial agreements for Corporate Services and IT/Digital segments is preferred
  • Must have experience in managing multiple concurrent initiatives and significant experience in the matrix management of resources across multiple groups
  • Broad and extensive business management skills and knowledge with a focus on IT/ Digital offerings and Corporate service Management
  • Respected leader with demonstrated ability to influence colleagues at senior, junior and peer levels
  • Experience in forming strategic partnerships with business partners in a collaborative manner
  • Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Proven business case development skills, including: experience with both quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Proven success working in and/or leading teams
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate diverse teams multicompany, crossfunctional/technical teams to deliver programs and projects on time and on budget
  • Ability to travel approximately 1020 percent, domestically and internationally
