In order to support Embedded RTS Development, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Bachelor Thesis within FPGA-based Hardware Acceleration of Artificial Neural Networks Inference (d/f/m):

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Migration of ANN inference of an existing example onto an FPGA evaluation platform.
Integration of the FPGA evaluation platform into an existing demonstrator architecture.
Realization of dynamic ANN topology configuration.
Assessment of solution's pros and cons in combination with a costbenefit analysis.

Desired skills and qualifications:

Enrolled fulltime student (d/f/m) in the area of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field of study.
Experience with FPGAbased hardware acceleration required (i.e. Xilinx Versal VCK 190).
Knowledge of C++ programming and HDL hardware description.
Experience in the area Deep Learning/ Supervised Learning desirable.
Good English & German language skills.
Profound English language skills in speaking and writing.
Openness and willingness to learn new methods, tools, and skills.
Teamminded, willingness to work in an international and interdisciplinary team.
Good communication skills and autonomous way of working.
