In this context, we are looking for a VIE as Contract Management Support (f/m/d) based at our offices in
Berlin or Salzgitter / Germany for 24 months.

Mission description:

Reporting to the Project Contract Manager, you support the project core team in all actions necessary for the management of all contract and commercial matters
Assist the Project Contract Manager with analyzation of the contract to build and drive implementation of a contract / claim management strategy plan.
Monitor project execution versus contractual obligations, including milestones.
Work closely with the project core team to identify and mitigate risks as well as identify, maximize and leverage claim opportunities towards customers, partners and suppliers
Monitor customer requests for variation orders / extensions of time and prepare Alstom's variation orders and claims
Coordination and cooperate with all involved departments (Legal, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Production)
Ensure timely issuance of contractual notices to customers
Establish and implement project specific procedures as regards contractual and commercial topics.

Your profile:

Following completion of a University degree in law, business, finance or engineering any other relevant background, you have ideally gained a first business experience, at best in an international industrial environment and in a project environment.
You are interested in railway products.
You have good communication skills, both written and verbally, are diplomatic and tenacious.
Your openmindedness enables you to be well integrated in an everchanging project environment.
Autonomy, team spirit, management and organizational skills as well as a good business sense are your key assets for this position.
Good language level of English & German is mandatory, French will be an asset.
Excellent MS office skills required.

Details of the Volunteers for International Experience (VIE) programme:
Assignments are open for citizens of European Union countries between 18 and 28 years, who have fulfilled the military service obligations of their country;
A VIE assignment will be in a country other than that of the applicant;
Set up by public sector statute in France, managed by the BusinessFrance organisation;
Assignment lasts from six to 24 months, renewable once within a cumulative limit of 24 months;
Compensation (non-taxable) linked to the cost of living index and set by BusinessFrance according to the destination country;
International social protection is extended to eligible parties; 2.5 days of holiday per month
