Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for setting direction and execution of companywide Quality Management System
  • Manage and oversee NCE/CAPA Program, including policies, processes, and training; directs area managers to implement the program, monitors performance of program and implements continual improvements to drive results
  • Monitor and present key Quality metrics surrounding complaints and NCE/CAPA program for Management Review to highlight and suggest areas for improvement to various department leadership
  • Oversees/hosts audits and inspections to maintain key accreditations to support business objectives (such as ISO, CAP/CLIA, GxP, etc.) and customer relationships
  • Train and mentor other Global Quality Team members
  • Serve as DLS Quality Representative for key and strategic customer relationships to champion quality of DLS products and services and further customer relationships
  • Directly manage global Quality Management team members to ensure DLS Quality Management System objectives are consistently met
  • Create and foster an environment of continuous improvement throughout the organization; design, develop and implement quality awareness and training programs
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described herein.
  • Consistent and predictable attendance is an essential function of the position

Qualifications / Experience:


  • Experience with managing teams of direct reports
  • Previous project managerial experience is preferred
  • Experience working crossfunctionally across organizational leadership to partner and address areas of
quality concern

  • Experience interacting directly with executive teams and external customers
  • Quality orientation, strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
