Position Summary:
Teacher of IB MYP and IB DP German Language and Literature & German Language Acquisition in Secondary School.
Responsibilities:
- Teach IB MYP & DP Language and Literature & German Language Acquisition in grades six through twelve
- Communicate and meet with parents
- Ensure that the individual learning needs of all pupils are met
- Record and share with pupils and parents assessment data at regular intervals during the school year
- Collaborate with colleagues from within and outside of the Modern Language Department
- Engage in professional development
- Attend departmental and other meetings
Qualifications:
- We are seeking applicants who are familiar with datadriven decision making or a willing mindset to learn how to do so. We seek an educator who welcomes the challenges of inperson, online, and hybrid (combination of in person and online) teaching and learning in all of its permutations. Experience with online and/or hybrid teaching would be helpful.
Terms of Employment:
- Starting date is 1 August 202
- The position is initially limited until 31 July 2026, with the option of permanent employment thereafter
- The position is a fulltime position
