For Hamburg Headquarters we are recruiting a
Strategic Buyer (M/F/d)
Your new job includes

  • As a Strategic Buyer (M/F/d) in Indirect Procurement, you will ensure professional purchasing in the categories Facility and Technical Warehouse Management, Consumables, POS Material and Energy Purchasing by ensuring security of supply, availability and adherence to deadlines at an optimal priceperformance ratio. In particular, you will prepare and carry out tenders, evaluate offers and independently conduct price negotiations and contract award talks
- optimize the supplier structure and implement the associated development of purchasing strategies, procurement concepts and the resulting measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- independently analyze procurement markets and carry out the procurement process holistically, from the offer phase and supplier selection through to contract negotiations and the preparation of contract documentation
- optimize supplier and risk management in accordance with the LkSG in coordination with the specialist departments
- work closely with the specialist departments, in particular when carrying out tenders and identifying and implementing synergy effects and optimization potentials

What you should bring along

  • A completed economics degreeor sound commercial training with several years of professional experience in purchasing
  • Several years of experience in indirect purchasing, ideally in the abovementioned categories
  • Business fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident handling of the MS Office package and ideally knowledge of SAP
  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills
  • A confident and assertive way of acting and you convince with a high level of social competence, which makes it easier for you to deal with different interest groups
