Strategic Innovation Lead (M/F/d)


This role gives you a unique chance to be accountable for the expansion of alternative market dynamization channels and be a catalyst for the ViiV portfolio growth.

You will be a crucial part in the German cross-functional ViiV team.


Key Responsibilities
This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities as follows:

  • Develop, pilot and lead on change management in innovative market strategies for alternative RX channels with a particular focus on further expanding partnerships and PSP programs.
  • Accountable for the accelerated growth of the longacting therapy (and future pipeline) with specific focus on market dynamization and switch tactics.
  • Ensure strong interface between market access, medical and the commercial team, as well with other ViiV LOC, Europe and Global team. Utilise the power of matrix to bring insights, share developments and ensure knowledge management at pace.
  • Responsible for the market dynamization business plan development, budget management and its implementation based on MVP/agile sprints. Use the MVP approach to proof the concept and to create basis for rapid scale and expansion.
  • Lead a crossfunctional team to successful shape opportunities along the customer and patient journey. Exercise challenger mindset and question status quo or suboptimal ambition and/or impact for patients in every initiative, project or function.

Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree (Economics, health economics and/or science) or equivalent
  • Several years' experience in pharma/ OTC, sick funds, KVs or distribution channels (pharmacy, wholesale or equivalent)
  • Proven leadership experience with strong passion to work in crossfunctional and matrix teams
  • Will and determination to succeed, as well as entrepreneurial drive and strategic thinking
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations including organizational changes and changes in job demands
  • Communicative competence and argumentation skills
  • Conflict resolution and integrity. Reflective mind on doing the right things.
  • Excellent German and English language skills

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience in market access or alternative RX channel business development
  • Ideally experience with project management/agile working
