This role is part of a newly formed team supporting payment transaction processing activities for German and other international banking clients.

In this role, you will report to the Team Lead with the goal of ensuring that daily operations meet or exceed performance expectations with the quality and service standards expected.

You should have deep knowledge of payment transaction processing, the payment lifecycle and regulatory/compliance standards of the European payments market.


Responsibilities:


  • Competent in support & processing of all customer enquiries
  • Execution of bookings & research in various systems and in the international payments network of 3rd party banks
  • Independent reconciliation of general ledger accounts and clarification of account differences
  • Processing of requests in various systems
  • Processing and clarification of enquiries the SWIFT environment, foreign payments, SEPA transactions and cheques
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements and market standards
  • Implementation of the daily routines in customer traffic as well as the company's own processes
  • Development and establishment of improvements in service and thus ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring compliance with existing SLAs including reporting
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Documentation of customer activities in the ticket system as well as related systems

Your Profile:


  • Extensive experience in payment transactions ideally in banks or Sparkassen (Savingsbanks)
  • Technical/ commercial apprenticeship or comparable knowledge (desirable: bank clerk and further qualifications)
  • Ability to manage multiple communication channels
  • Very good knowledge of payment and governance processes
  • Good analytical skills and technical understanding
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Flexibility, strong communication skills, confident attitude, verbal and written formulation skills, ability to convey complex issues
  • Fluent in both English and German (spoken and written)
