W- Professorship (f/m/d) for Operating Systems
We are looking for an outstanding personality who represents the field of operating systems in re
- search and teaching at the Department of Computer Science and who is appropriately involved in the
education of students, especially in the courses of study in Computer Science and Computer Engi
- neering. The sought personality should have outstanding scientific credentials in at least one of the
following areas within operating systems through relevant international publications in high-ranking

organs:

  • Architecture and design of modern operating systems
  • System programming and virtualization
  • Scalable, reliable, secure, or resourceconstrained systems
The Department of Computer Science is currently pursuing three strategic areas with Security, Data
Science, and Domain-Specific Computing. There should be connectivity to at least one of these focus
areas.
