Reinsurance Accounting (RIA) timely provides reliable accounting information to internal and external stakeholders.

For our new founded section we are looking for
three qualified employee to complete our team. You can look forward to a broad and challenging range of responsibilities with many opportunities for your development.

You will act as main contact for the local accounting departments and will be responsible, supporting and providing guidance towards the local accounting departments (IO).

Within our hybrid working model you will report to your Head of Section within our Global Life Accounting Department.

Your job

Establishing close ties with the IO and providing high quality accounting support
Performing and coordinating centralized, global quality assurance checks on HGB and IFRS
Performing onsite reviews with IO

Profile:

University degree or apprenticeship in a quantitative field; minimum of three years of professional experience in the finance department, ideally with a focus on actuarial accounting
Deep accounting knowledge according to the relevant HGB and IFRS accounting standards, ideally in connection with IFRS 1
Very good command of written and spoken English
Distinct willingness for change and overcoming obstacles with high team spirit and enthusiasm
Excellent analytical skills, good problemsolving abilities and conceptual skills combined with an ability to explain complex interrelationships in an understandable way
