Join our dynamic Group Security team, which is responsible for physical security at the RWE Group.

As a Senior Physical Security Expert, you will be responsible for a variety of exciting tasks and areas of responsibility covering a wide range of security-related topics, with the aim of preventing negative impacts on the RWE Group, as part of the critical infrastructure.

Responsibility for coordinating one or more topics within Group Security (including travel security management, crisis management, security intelligence, preparation of threat assessments, incident management, creation and implementation of security concepts)
Managing and contributing to projects involving proactive coordination and cooperation with various departments and stakeholders
Providing management with advice on the assigned areas of responsibility
Managing and continuously improving Groupwide security systems, processes and services, e.g. in the capacity of project manager or process / system manager
Preparing, conducting, and following up on seminars, awarenessraising initiatives and training programmes
Rendering regular and ad hoc reports on the current security situation or for the assigned areas of responsibility
Coordination of external service providers
Professional representation and support on other security relevant topics, e.g. Business Continuity Management, handling of security incidents

Your powerful skills

Successfully completed university degree
At least five years of professional experience in one of the relevant areas
Project management experience, particularly in the leading of complex, companywide and longterm projects, combined with excellent stakeholder management
Structured and able to work independently and an outstanding ability to grasp new concepts
Excellent German and excellent English skills (written and spoken)
Proficient in MS Office

Advantageous, but not a must

Several years of experience in the Corporate Security department of an international enterprise
Expertise in creating situational overviews and analysing information from publicly available sources (OSINT research)
Experience in the development of safeguarding plans (for people, events, buildings, etc.)
Experience in business continuity and crisis management
Experience in travel security management
