WWC Global is seeking a qualified professional to support Special Operations Command Africa by providing exercise support. Special Security Representative responsible for the accreditation process for SCI facilities where SOCAFRICA is operating and conducting exercises. In accordance with appropriate DIA, DCI, DoD, joint, and Army regulations.

Reviews and approves deployment of Tactical SCIFs (T-SCIFs); the establishment of Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWA); and provides guidance on the establishment, deployment, and security management of T-SCIFs.

Reviews, approves, and/or advises subordinate units on all SCIF modifications and/or construction; coordinates all SCIF modification/construction issues with DIA to ensure compliance with regulatory guidance.

Coordinates all actions regarding the accreditation and/or inspection of SCIFs with DA, DIA, and/or other DoD organizations. Provides mission analysis, develops the concept for TSCIFs, and coordinates necessary resources. Conducts pre-deployment site surveys (PDSSs) and attends all Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) events. During exercise execution, serves in the Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG).

Relocation assistance may be provided.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to work in confined areas.
  • Ability to work in remote and rural environments.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle in environments including city, highway, and rural roads CONUS and OCONUS.

Travel:

  • 2149% / Regular Travel.
  • This position may require travel to remote overseas locations for extended periods of time.

Requirements:


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of directly related military experience //OR// 15 years of directly related military experience.
  • Current, active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in tactical and operational planning, operations, and training.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in scheduling, coordinating, synchronizing daily operations and administration functions.
  • Expert knowledge for matters regarding physical and information security.
  • Experience conducting various levels of inspections and assessments of the physical security of installation areas and facilities containing both classified and unclassified installations.
  • Experienced in identifying security deficiencies during inspections and surveys and able to recommend procedures to correct deficient areas.
  • Expert level field experience with SSO and SSR operations.
  • Must be able to travel to Africa, many training sites are in austere locations.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Valid driver's license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain WWC liability insurance through a clean driving record.
